A lot of small motors including motorcycles have little circuit boards somewhere in the ignition circuit. The solder joints between the chips and the board often ***** and open when the motor gets hot, and the motor quits. Some examples, Yamaha, Suzuki. Lots of makes have suppliers who exchange resoldered boards. You can resolder these boards yourself if you have a steady hand. This is just a guess, mind you.

It could be dirt in the carburetor. Does this engine have points or electronic ignition. When it quits you should check and see if it has spark. Do this right when it quits. If it has spark you can figure it is a fuel issue.

after the motor shuts itself down remove the oil plug watch out for a burp of oil,if it burps you have pressure building up in the crankcase, there is a vent system on the side of the motor replace it ,it will probably be ok
